# Privacy policy



We do not use accounts or advertising trackers.

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It sets first-party cookies and receives your IP address and basic device information, which Google processes under its own privacy policy. Blocking it with a content blocker does not break any part of the site.

The picker, the policy builder, the cost calculator and the safety checklist run entirely in your browser. The checklist stores your progress in your browser's local storage and nowhere else.

When you use the site readiness check, the address you enter is sent to our server, which fetches public files from that site. Results stay in memory for ten minutes and are not logged with your IP address. Your IP address is used only for rate limiting and is not stored.

Our web server keeps standard access logs for up to 14 days for security and troubleshooting.
