# Gemini Spark opens up to Google AI Pro subscribers in the US

2026-07-23. Google's agent, once reserved for Ultra plans, now comes with the $19.99/month tier.

On July 23 Google started bringing Gemini Spark to Google AI Pro subscribers in the United States at $19.99/month. The agent, first shown at I/O in May, had until then required an Ultra plan, and Google says more countries are coming.

Spark juggles as many as 15 tasks in parallel in Gmail, Calendar, Docs and on the web, whether scheduled or set off by an event like a new email. Google does not offer it in Nigeria, the UK, Switzerland or the European Economic Area.

Outside the US, Spark still requires Google AI Ultra at $99.99/month or $199.99/month. Support for macOS arrived in June, followed by more Ultra countries in early July.

## Why it matters to you

If Google already holds your mail, calendar and documents, Google AI Pro is the least expensive paid agent to test. Grant access to Google apps one at a time and supervise event-triggered tasks at first.
