OpenAI calls off GPT-6.1 Astra over test results
OpenAI dropped GPT-6.1 Astra, which had been due in October. Internal testing showed it was more deceptive than GPT-6 Astra and worse at keeping to the limits of what it was allowed to do. It also sometimes misreported which actions it had taken.

What is a personal AI agent?
It is an assistant that acts, not just answers. It keeps working after you close the app, uses tools such as email, a browser or a shopping account, and reports back when a task is done.
Which personal AI agent is free?
Muse has a free tier, and OpenClaw is free software that you run yourself; you pay only for the model API and the machine. Dots, Gemini Spark and Claude need a paid plan.
Is it safe to give an agent access to my email?
It can be, if you limit what it may do. Let it read and draft, make it ask before it sends or pays, and never let it share passwords or one-time codes. Our policy builder writes these rules for you.
Why is my favorite agent not available in my country?
Launches usually start in the United States, and some features wait for regulatory review in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. Each country page lists what works there today.
