Muse is Meta's personal agent for everyday errands, launched on September 8, 2026 for adults in the US and Canada. Muse Free gives you 100 million Muse tokens a week, and the paid plans cost $20/month for Muse Power and $100/month for Muse Maximum. A payment card is required even on the free tier.
How it works
Muse is designed around messaging. You name it, design an avatar and send it requests in the Muse app, the Mac app, on muse.ai or inside WhatsApp, where it keeps the same memory. It shops, books travel, handles email and payments, sells on Marketplace and suggests ideas without being asked.
Behind the chat, every account is assigned its own Muse Secure VM, which holds both the agent and copies of your connected data. Muse asks for approval before sensitive actions, so connect only the accounts a task really needs.
Usage is metered in weekly token allowances rather than tasks: 100 million on Muse Free, 500 million on Muse Power and 3 billion on Muse Maximum, with identical features on both paid plans. A long browsing job burns far more tokens than a few quick questions, so check your balance before a big errand.

Privacy
Your Muse Secure VM stores copies of the emails and files you connect, and a researcher already found a flaw that could have exposed one; Meta classed it as SEV-2 and made its warnings clearer. The bigger everyday risk is oversharing, after one reviewer's Muse gave his home address to a Marketplace buyer. Put your address, phone number and schedule on a written never-share list.

Where is Muse available?
Muse is open to adults in the US and Canada and nowhere else yet. Meta plans to add more countries, with no dates announced.
Why can't Muse shop on Amazon?
Amazon shut Muse out when Meta refused to take Amazon out of the experience. In Amazon's view, Muse fails to identify itself as an agent and seems to keep customers' credentials, and shoppers now see a warning about unauthorized agents.
Can Muse share my personal information?
It has happened. A reviewer reported that Muse gave his home address to a Marketplace buyer and accepted low offers without asking. Give it a written rule that your address, phone number and schedule are never shared, and make every offer it wants to accept wait for your approval.
