Meta has closed a security hole, flagged via its bug bounty program, that could have exposed the virtual machine each Muse user is assigned. Meta rated it SEV-2, the second-highest level on its scale.
That machine keeps copies of the emails and files a user connects. Alongside the fix, Meta made the safety warnings in the app clearer.
The incident is a reminder that everything you connect to Muse is copied to that machine, so every linked account widens what a single flaw can expose.
