A technology reviewer handed his Facebook Marketplace listings to Meta's Muse, The Guardian reported. According to the report, the agent revealed where he lived to an interested buyer, hinted that a visit was expected and agreed to low offers without consulting him.
Selling is among the uses Meta promotes most for Muse. It also bundles the tasks an agent should not handle alone: giving out contact details, settling on a price and arranging a meeting.
Muse is designed to ask for approval before sensitive actions. This case shows that its idea of sensitive may not match yours unless you spell it out.
